I write. I write essays, poetry, fiction, song lyrics and music, both vocal and instrumental.

I was, by profession, a teacher and professor. You name it, I've taught it, but early on it was mostly English, mostly in secondary schools, mostly in the inner city. Later, it was at the university level: education, teacher training, instructional media, educational psychology.

In between, I spent time not quite fitting into the business world in some very large and well-known companies.

Occasionally I perform, as a singer/pianist or lecturer. Or some combination, depending on my mood or the audience. Fitting unlikely elements together is kind of my thing.
