My background has always been focused on combining business and creative/entrepreneurial endeavours.
· BA, Communications Management with a minor in Business;
· MBA, Marketing and Management with a focus on new technologies;
· Production and Locations Coordinator in the New York and Washington, DC, film and television industries
· Media relations for a private New York university.
I also successfully managed my own production company for 13 years while in New York.
Returning to live in Trinidad after several decades in the US, I founded GRANTedT&T to assist our local SMEs, NGOs, and non-profits in establishing themselves as viable and sustainable industries, thereby helping to create employment, diversification options, and an enhanced sense of national identity.
I am passionate about history, culture, and the arts, and I strive daily to learn more about the wealth of talent and resources in this country to be better able to assist our local entrepreneurs in accessing the funding that will help them to achieve their visions.
