Cecil Garrett III

Hello My name is Cecil Garrett III. I am born and raised in Tulsa, Ok. I enjoy spending quality time with my son everyday. He is my biggest inspiration that fuels my fire to work hard. Along with spending time with my son I also enjoy cooking. Cooking has been my passion now for 15 years. My inspiration comes from my grandma. When growing up she would spend long hours in the kitchen preparing very large dinners for family and friends. My grandma is 1 of 12 so there are allot of mouths to feed and she enjoyed every opportunity to cook for her family. So while growing up it was very common to wake up and smell good food for many hours during the day waiting patiently for dinner. Seeing how family and friends come together to enjoy wonderful food and spend quality time together was amazing. After growing up and now having my own son. I often think about my childhood and allot of the best memories are times at grandmas house with family and friends. I want to leave those same childhood memories with my son to reflect when he gets older and keep the legacy alive.

I began cooking and inviting family and friends over for dinner. After the first time seeing how my food brought family and friends together the same way my grandma used to started my dream of keeping my grandmas legacy alive. So I began cooking more and more and the dinners got bigger and bigger. Now cooking is something I do everyday and I absolutely love to do it. I serve passion on a plate.
