About this photo: In 2012 I went to Haiti with my church as a Photographer. I don't know this girls name, but I have several photos of her. She was covered in dirt and mud, and looked like she needed a decent meal. I just wanted to hug her and bring her home with me. A few smiles from the children in this area, but not as many as others. And this girl just looked sad. The eyes are the window to the soul and this girls soul was crying out for a childhood. She had in her hand one tiny bit of crayon. She would draw on the rocks with it, and cling to it like it was her only posession in the world when another child would want to share.
I'm a photographer and I'm crazy about my job. Its fantastic. I can't count the number of ways this profession has blessed me.
I run a non-profit that provides documentary photography to Christian Missions. That will take me all over the world. Its still a baby, but I'm excited about everything I have accomplished so far and the places I've been.
Behind photography my second passion is addictions and my third learning. I'm in the process of completing my education. I would eventually hope to earn a doctorate.
