I have just begun my gap year from school! I'm presently living in the suburbs of Chicago, looking for an internship to gain experience in designing the built environment. I recently graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Science in Community and Regional Planning, and will begin my Masters of Arts in Sustainable Urbanism in London as a Prince's Foundation Fellow beginning in September 2014.
Through the Prince's Foundation, I have been able to complete the Summer School course where I spent several weeks gaining hands on experience doing a variety of activities, from drawing and designing to stone masonry and my personal favorite: Wattle and Daube.
In my spare time, I love to take pictures and planning my next trip! I rarely make it in front of the camera because I love being behind it so much, and taking photos of fascinating features of any person or place is such a thrill to me!
