One of God's gifts is His love. We cannot survive sucessfully without it.

What drew me to the lordin the beginning was love of God that i sensed in the Christian I knew. When I learned that God loved us before we even knew Him, my heart was smitten. When I realized that He accepts us the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way, I was sold. The bible says, "many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him" (Psalm 32:10 niv)
