Carlos E. Cuesta is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at the School of Computer Science & Engineering in Rey Juan Carlos University, in Madrid (Spain). He is also the Director of the Master Program in Computer Science & Engineering, and the Assistant Director of the Master of Data Science (http://www.masterdatascience.es).
His main research interest is Software Architecture: this include many bindings to Reflective and Self-Adaptive Systems, Data Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Invasive Composition, Systems-of-systems, Model-Driven Development and Concurrency Theory.
He has published more than 50 articles and has been involved in more than 20 research projects. In 2012 he was co-chair for both the worldwide and the European conferences in Software Architecture, and he still remains an active researcher in the field.
