We all know that piracy is a huge problem in today's day and age. But not everybody is aware of just how large that problem has become. It's ravaged entire industries, with the film and music business being forever changed for the worse. The numbers on how many people illegally downloaded the major Grammy winners last year alone paint a picture of just how bleak the music industry has become.
After the Grammys, and for the next 16 days, CEG TEK International tracked all of the information related to what people were downloading, and which winning artists were illegally downloaded the most.
What they found was staggering. As many as 5.7 million unique users downloaded a Grammy winning artist or album within the first 16 days after the awards ceremony. The items ranged from any one of 68 different award winning albums, with most of them devoted to the most popular artists.

But this paints of picture of why the music industry is struggling. You have 5.7 million people at least, who were all willing to steal an album instead of pay a fair price, despite the fact that they are readily available everywhere and CDs are cheaper than ever.
It seems not even services like iTunes can keep users from just stealing music outright. But at least CEG TEK International is putting together new and innovative ways to go after pirates. They've developed a really handy automated system that makes it easier than ever for them to fully protect copyrighted material.
Whether you have movies that you want to protect or film, there are several different services that they afford, all with their own unique advantage in the fight to end copyright infringement.
