Celeste Gentile

Teacher Consultant and Special Educator in Ann Arbor Area

I currently serve as a Teacher Consultant for the Washtenaw Intermediate School District. I hold a Specialist in Special Education Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University, with both Director and Supervisor approvals, as well as a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor for the Department of Special Education at Eastern Michigan University, a certified Independent Facilitator from the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council through Wayne State University, a certified instructor of Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid, an instructor in Evidence-Based Practices in ASD through the START Project, and a Critical Friends Group Coach through the National School Reform Faculty.

I live in the Ann Arbor area with my husband, son, and our two rescue cats. Outside of work, I enjoy live music, traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. My passion lies in working with teams of educators and families to create unique problem-solving strategies, particularly when supporting students in challenging situations. I collaborate with community agencies and support adult learners who aspire to work with young people who experience neurodiversity and social or communication challenges.

In addition to my consulting role, I proudly serve as the liaison for our county school district’s partnership with Eastern Michigan University, supporting para-educators in obtaining their special education teaching endorsements.

Thank you for visiting my page—I look forward to connecting!
