Celeste Lewis

Celeste Lewis is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Baton Rouge as well as a Psychiatric -Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been a self-employed contractor in private practice at Legacy Behavioral Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since 2014. Her responsibilities now and in the past include a range of important activities, including psychotropic medication management, initial psychiatric evaluations, performing psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis of clients with mental illness. Additionally, she has ordered appropriate laboratory tests as needed and has scheduled for monitoring of psychotropic medication.

Celeste Lewis previously worked for the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, in the Orleans Parish Prison and then in the Orleans Parish Mental Health Unit at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center. Prior to that, she worked with the Capital Area Human Services District in Baton Rouge for roughly a year.
