Celia A. Riley

Over the course of her career in political research, analysis, and strategy, Celia A. Riley has upheld a steadfast commitment to professional ethics, client satisfaction, and excellence in all facets of her work. Following receipt of her B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida (USF) in August 2006, Ms. Riley gained admission to the institution's Public Administration Program. Between 2006 and 2008, Celia A. Riley fulfilled graduate-level coursework in public policy at the institution, along with professional responsibilities for various municipal departments in and around the metropolitan area of Tampa, Florida. During this time, Celia A. Riley accumulated invaluable hands-on experience as USF’s Field Representative to the Hillsborough County Economic Development Department and Research and Data Analyst for the City of Zephyrhills. In addition, she worked on multiple political campaigns as a graduate student, including Mitt Romney for President and the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity. A member of the national public affairs and administration honor society Pi Alpha Alpha, Celia A. Riley graduated from USF in May 2008 with an M.P.A. Following graduation, Celia A. Riley worked as a Project Manager for Majority Strategies in Jacksonville, where she performed duties related to voter contact and political consulting for the 2008 election cycle. Remaining active on political campaigns, she also promoted “get out the vote” efforts for John McCain in Missouri, and traveled to Minneapolis to help with Norm Coleman’s recount for the senate election. In January 2009, Celia A. Riley relocated to Arlington, Virginia, to accept a position as Political Account Assistant for The Lukens Company, where she managed direct-mail campaigns for several political and non-profit clients. Leaving The Lukens Group in June 2009, Celia A. Riley accepted an offer from the NRCC to work as Northeast Regional Research Analyst and effectively began a lengthy tenure with the organization. After one year as Northeast Regional Research Analyst, she earned a promotion to Research Analyst in the Independent Expenditure Division; in this new role, she provided research and advice for the implementation of a $46 million nationwide media campaign. Owing to her outstanding performance, Ms. Riley gained an additional promotion to Senior Research Analyst of the NRCC in January 2010, where she continues to perform political research and policy analysis.
