A marketing professional with diverse, international experience across industries, Celia Tombalakian serves as Vice President of Global and US Marketing at COTY, Inc.
Ms. Tombalakian was recruited into the newly combined global/U.S. role based on deep marketing acumen, prior performance in leading successful go-to-market execution, and product innovation. As a member of the Consumer Beauty Marketing Leadership Team, she oversees reports covering Global and US marketing, Digital Marketing, and Product Development. Ms. Tombalakian drives organizational transition, new brand structure, and brand consistency worldwide.
Previously, Celia Tombalakian worked as the Senior Director of Global Consumer Insights and Product Innovation at Elizabeth Arden. She brought her expertise in consumer and professional marketing, clinical knowledge, and marketplaceinsights to this role in order to develop go-to-market strategies for professional skincare and beauty devices.
As a former group director of worldwide marketing for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Celia Tombalakian was responsible for the full business strategy of the organization’s complex global Transfusion Medicine franchise valued at over a half billion dollars in worldwide sales. She utilized her consumer marketing background to reenergize the business with a full marketing plan, which was presented to its trade partners as a means of building brand equity and leadership. This included a heavy focus on digital engagements, from apps to educational programs, to better serve their trade partners. For this work at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Celia Tombalakian received the Global Awards for Healthcare Advertising and Professional Integrated Campaign Awards. Prior to that, Celia Tombalakian was appointed as the Director of Marketing for Mentor Worldwide LLC, a newly acquired company by Johnson & Johnson, which competed in the medical aesthetic space. She established the region’s first marketing department including business and reporting processes. She prioritized the expansion of the product portfolio, as well as the renovation of a consumer facing interactive website with professional e-commerce capabilities for physician customers.
