I am a PhD in Plant Physiology specialised in climacteric fruit ripening and quality. I have been working with avocados (Persea americana Mill.) studying antioxidant and physiological quality related to vitamins and disorders related to the cold chain as well as the impact of cold storage on fruit quality. Also I have been collaborating with Biovert S.L. working with apple (Malus domestica) aiming to develop a commercial formula for reducing preharvest disorders on fruit and with non-climacteric grapes (Vitis vinifera) for increasing antioxidant and organoleptic quality, thus nutritional value.
