Hello!

When I think about who I am, I realize that it can come down to two basic things. The first is that I am a learner. I strive to expand my worldview and understanding. I read books to hear others' stories, to discover new ideas, and to pursue intriguing concepts. I am in school to be intellectually stimulated and I take that seriously. I observe the world around me to grab ahold of the lessons of everyday life and experience.

The second thing is that I believe in love. Not the kind of love you find in romantic comedies but a love that is authentic. A love that inspires action to address the injustice that is so prevalent in our world. It is because of this love that I am passionate about others and their stories. Based on this authentic love I believe in the basic rights of human beings. I want to work to empower others and show them the value that they may not see in themselves.

Everything else about me is bonus! I have an appreciation of art and love going to museums. I love the theater and seeing plays, operas, and musicals. In my spare time you could find me in a coffee shop reading a book and sipping an iced coffee, walking around the city exploring various neighborhoods, hanging out with my godson, or catching a movie with my brother.
