My name is Celina Rodrigo, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. I am currently enrolled at the University of Georgia in pursuit of a graduate degree in Workforce Education. I am also working as a graduate assistant for the UGA Women's Basketball Program. I have a strong passion for health and medicine and I am striving to pursue my ultimate goal which is to become a Physician Assistant.

Throughout the past month I have expanded my knowledge about the realm of communication, specifically business communication. I've learned about when to use different communication pathways depending on the situation. For example, when it is appropriate to use email over text. Moreover, when using text messaging how to word information to be as clear and concise as possible. I also learned more about communication pathways that I was previously not confident about such as memos's. Now I am aware of not only why people use memo's but the proper format of a memo and different kinds of content that may be included. However, the overall theme I took away and have begun to apply to my communication skills is to be direct and clear to the recipient I am conveying a message to.
