Celine Besman

Celine is a fourth-year public relations major at the University of Florida. Celineconsiders herself to be a multipotentialite. This is a term coined by Emilie Wapnick and is aword to describe someone who has many passions and wants to do everything. She is involved inmultiple organizations on campus.In Fall ’18 she will be the Campus Correspondent for Her Campus, an online collegiatemagazine, she currently serves as their Instagram manager. Celine also is a publicist for a localGainesville band, The Delta Troubadours, through a student-run record label called SwampRecords. She works as a social media researcher and live tweeter for Frank Gathering, which is aconvention that invites people advocating the connection of science and social change. She isalso a member of She’s The First, which raises money for girls’ education, and AlphaProductions, a campus public relations firm.When she is not running around from meeting to meeting, Celine enjoys wasting toomuch time at HomeGoods for someone who does not own a home to have goods for, and she hasenough mugs for coffee and tea to probably be able to use a different one each day. Her nightstypically consist of SNL and The Office along with good food and good company. Some funfacts about her are that Cosmo Magazine used a tweet of hers that went viral in their article andas their headline and she took classes on Rock ‘n’ Roll history and pottery.
