I'm a thirty-something singer, songwriter, recording artist (indie, no label), activist and DIVA! I have lived in Vermont almost all of my life, and I'm proud to represent the Green Mountain State.
Currently singing female lead vocals with the Greenwich, NY-based Roadhouse Rhythm and Blues Band - we perform familiar songs from the Blues Brothers to lesser-known work by Tommy Castro, as well as classic rock favorites and our own renditions of standards.
I not only sing R+B, blues, jazz, and soul music, but I also write a lot of ballads, and am influenced by a wide range of artists from Elliott Smith to Tech N9ne to Queen to Amy Winehouse and so many more. Currently working on putting together a solo act!
In addition, I am an outspoken activist, and I believe using my voice to create awareness about issues that affect me personally, or affect others I know. These issues include, but are't limited to: The queer community (LGBTQ), size/fat acceptance and body positivity, disabled folks, poverty, diversity, and so much more.
