I'm a 25 year old Canadian, born in Edmonton and raised in the beautiful community of Brentwood Bay, British Columbia.

I've always been pretty quirky and often found myself interested in things that generally people would consider to be "nerdy." I spent my childhood pretending to be a character from Sailor Moon or Posh Spice, going on galactic adventures in my bunk bed with my stuffies, or scouting the woods in my own fantasy world.

I began creating in high school, first as sketches and painting, then manifesting itself into creating costumes when I ventured back to Edmonton and got involved in the convention scene. The sewing bug hit me hard and just won't go away!

I started out creating costumes from video games and Japanese anime, but now I'm turning my focus onto historical recreations. I spend many a late night doing research on various eras, with focus upon renaissance, regency, Victorian, and Edwardian. I have a love for jewel tones, drapey materials, and lots of sparkle that looks simple, but elegant.

I have a dream to create my own fashion line in the future. Even if it doesn't get picked up, I'd be happy to be able to create and wear something that is uniquely mine and stand out from the bunch!
