Ceri Nordling
Teacher, PhD Candidate, and Researcher in Western Australia
Hello! My name is Ceri ("Kerry"), and I am a K-6 drama and visual arts specialist teacher.
As an educator, arts manager, and advocate for the intersection of arts and wellbeing, I have dedicated my career to fostering creativity, resilience, and wellbeing in educational and community settings. With over three decades of experience in teaching, arts program development, and project management, I specialize in designing and implementing arts-based initiatives that enrich the learning experience for children aged 3-12.
I am currently pursuing a PhD exploring the relationship between drama education and personal, social and emotional capability for children aged 3-12. My passion lies in exploring how drama can act as a powerful protective factor for young people, and how creative programs can build stronger connections between schools, communities, and allied health sectors.
Driven by a deep commitment to making a positive impact, I am always looking for new opportunities to innovate, educate, and empower through the arts. Whether it’s through teaching, program development, or research, I believe in the transformative power of creativity to foster personal and collective wellbeing and build inclusive, supportive environments for learners of all ages.
