CeCe of One M.I.C. Nation

CeCe "CeSquared" was born in Los Angeles, California in 1993. She was born born into a carribean family, who vibrant culture plays an important role in her music. Her parents brought music into CeCe's life at an early age. Her father was a second generantion DJ in the Los Angeles area, being one of the most talked about DJ's during the 1980's and 1990's. Her mother was a singer, who passed down the talent to CeCe.

From the time CeCe was born, her mother and father kept her in a musical envoirnment, always playing music, and dancing to different generes of music. In 1994, was the birth of her little brother and future group member, Skooby D. From there, Skooby D and CeSquared has been close. In 1996, CeSquared, Skooby D, and thier mother packed up and moved to the musical scene of Atlanta. From there, CeSquared has expaned her musical interest.

At the age 8, CeSquared has experesed her musical interest to the fullest by writing her own songs, and singing. Even though she loved to write and sing, she kept it to herself, for she was shy. It wasn't until her eighth grade year when she met a group of girls who shared the same musical interest as her. The later formed the group Y.D.C or Yung Dimez Clique consisting of four girls: Jazzi, Brenny, Ashley, and CeCe. All of the girls sing, but Jazzi also rapped, and CeCe and Brenny wrote most of the groups songs. During her time with Y.D.C., they performed at small parties and recorded songs, but egos, diva attitudes, and boys led to the end of the girl group. CeCe learned to better herself as a singer, songwriter, and was even introduced into rapping.

When entering high school, CeSquared expanded her musical interest into dance and acting. For all four years in high school, she was the captain of her schools dance/step team. She also joined Drama Club, and from there her love of acting skyrocketed. She even wrote and performed her first monolouge "Red Rose" for her school's show "Short Attention Span Theatre", which was highly talked about.

Through all her high school years, she did not give up on her music. One day she heard her little brother Skooby D rap. From there, the birth of One Mission in Common was formed with the last member, Deji Lee, joining. At this time, she expanded her talent into also rapping.

CeSquared's music is influned by all genres of music, and listens to all genres for more ideas and ways to better her music and be a well rounded artist.
