CET USA

Founded in 1995, Council for Educational Travel, USA, also known as CETUSA, pursues the mission of fostering cross-cultural communication by offering international work and study programs. A non-profit organization, CETUSA collaborates with academic institutions and international partners to deliver programs, such as career and study exchanges. The Council facilitates global friendships and offers support to all participants.
Accredited by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET), CETUSA implements all standards set out in U.S. Department of State regulations. Offering an array of cultural exchange programs, CETUSA provides educational opportunities for high school and community college students. The company also hosts work and travel programs for students and employers. CETUSA organizes internships and trainee opportunities with United States-based organizations, short term visits with host families, and homestay opportunities.
The Council encourages travel and cultural shaping in its Citizen Diplomat Corps, which is comprised of individuals who believe in creating positive relationships with individuals from different countries through personal experience and effort. CETUSA Citizen Diplomat Corps enables anyone to engage in and contribute to an international cultural dialogue in a tangible manner. The company is designated to issue the DS-2019, which enables participants to obtain the J-1 visa for the Summer Work and Travel Program. With this visa, international college students can work and live in the United States for up to four months. Group members are assisted in job placement, housing, and transportation, which encourage a unique immersion experience. To learn more about the different programs with CETUSA, visit www.cetusa.org.
