Ceyda Nurtsch

Ceyda is a Berlin based freelance journalist focussing on Turkish culture politics, pluralistic society, human rights, literature and art. She was born in 1979 in Germany and attended the German High School in Istanbul, Istanbul Alman Lisesi, and the Bishop of Hereford´s Bluecoat School, England. She studied Oriental Studies, Political Sciences and Philosophy at the University of Cologne and holds a PhD in Turkish Literature.
