Cameron Ferns

My name is Cameron Ferns, I am currently 16 years old and attend Corfe Hills School, Poole, Dorset.

My hobbies include computer programming, DIY projects and networking. I have built a functional domain with an old laptop (that sadly the hard drive has failed on so is no longer operational), and I am working on a virtualization server for all of the home computers on my network.

I describe myself as fairly tech-savvy, knowing the ways about various different Operating Systems, including Windows and Linux, and knowing how to troubleshoot basic issues like faulty network drivers or changing the network location to a Private network from a Public network. I haven't yet had the opportunity to work with Mac OS, as I haven't had a copy of it to look around on, or even a Mac itself.

My dream job is to be a network engineer, setting up and maintaining servers that help to run the business, like a production server, a web server, or even just a simple domain controller.
