Journalist, Information architect, web strategist and assistant professor, with over 15 years of expertise on the web field. Across my career I have worked in different fields and faced various challenges such as being the founder of Chilean newspaper El Mercurio´s site, EMOL.com (currently the most visited site in Chile), working on the first educational digital communities for the Spanish Editorial house Planeta, being part of the team that designed the selling process interface for the Chilean-based airline LAN Airlines (currently the top selling site in the country), up to my current challenge as Web Director at Universidad Católica de Chile, where I lead and design the digital strategies for over 300 sites that are part of the university. I have also delivered various consultancies on the Information Architecture processes for private companies and government websites, such as the Chilean Tourism Board, the Chilean Comissionate of Energy and the telecommunications company, Movistar.
Since 2006 I teach Multimedia Narrative as Assistant Professor at the Journalism and Audiovisual Studies Schools in Universidad Católica de Chile and also lead and teach at the Postgraduate Diplomma in Web Content Management and Development, one of the first initiatives of this kind in the country
