Born in 1980, Christopher Fiori finished his school education in 1999 with a general certificate of education. After serving his military service, he then went to the Heilbronn University for studying business administration with a major in sports- culture and leisure management and started early to focus on Venue- and Eventmanagement. His diploma thesis, which he wrote in cooperation with the Hanns-Martin-Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart, dealed with a study about new indoor arenas and their market. The thesis was grated excellent and achieved an award of the local chamber of commerce and industry.

After finishing university he started as Event Director & Business Manager at Stadion Frankfurt Management GmbH, the operator of Commerzbank-Arena. He was involved in the pre-opening phase. During his work at Commerzbank-Arena, Christopher Fiori was in charge of the event management of all concerts e.g. Rolling Stones, Genesis, U2 and Madonna and was extremely involved in the FIFA World Cup 2006. He also was major responsible for finance and administration and the whole marketing and PR of the cooperation. In September 2009 he awarded power of procuration for the company and appointed as deputy general manager.

Christopher Fiori joined IFS Middle East in 2012 as Operations Director for the brand new “FGB Arena” in Abu Dhabi, a state-of-the-art indoor arena for up to 6.000 spectators. He was responsible for advising the construction team on all operational elements. His main tasks also included setting up an operational concept alongside the owner as well as drafting and negotiating a 10 year operating contract. He was also highly evolved in designing, drafting and negotiating of a ten year naming right contract. After setting up all agreements, Mr. Fiori headed up the selection process and delivery of an operations team and has overseen the handover process as well as the pre-opening phase.

Since April 2014, Christopher is based in Germany again, working as an independent consultant in the field of venue- sport- and eventmanagement as well as Senior Director at Commerzbank-Arena Frankfurt.

In 2011 Christopher Fiori was awarded with a prestigious scholarship from Germany’s best known Sportbusiness magazine “SPONSORs" for an MBA Programm in Sportmangement at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena. He finished the program in 2013 with a distinguished result.
