Penias Chabwela is a programme officer responsible for Business Licensing Reforms and MSME Development Reforms under the Private Sector Development Reform Programme (PSDRP) in Zambia, a position he has held since 2011. Chabwela is a seasoned Private Sector Development worker with almost seven years experience in Small - Medium sized Enterprise development. He also has vast experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and research through his work with emergent and commercial farmers, and small and medium sized enterprises on various capacity building programmes at the Zambia Chamber of Small and Medium Business Associations (ZCSMBA) and International Development Enterprises (IDE) Zambia. His experience and knowledge spans across a wide range of competencies, particularly in lobbying and advocacy, organizational capacity assessment and development, partnership development and management, entrepreneurship promotion, project management, project and business proposal writing and vetting, relationship management and job evaluation. Chabwela has acquired knowledge and skills in International Trade Policy and Law, Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA), Private Sector Development, Women Entrepreneurship Promotion, Partnership Development and Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis and Reporting (COMAFR III Expert).
