I was born in a small Minnesota town and developed a passionate love of nature.

Upon graduating high school I enlisted in the US Navy as a Data Systems Technician and set out on my first adventure to San Diego, California. There I was introduced to the ocean and immediately became a certified SCUBA diver.

My next assignment in the Navy was to Sicily. I continued my SCUBA adventures here in the mediterranean sea, but also did extensive hiking on the largest volcano in Europe, Mt. Etna.

After completing 10 years in the Navy and completing my bachelor's degree, I joined the US Air Force and was commissioned as a Cyber Operations officer and assigned to Washington DC. Here my adventures continued exploring many parks and rivers surrounding the area.

After DC, my next assignment was to Panama City, Florida. Here I discovered the Gulf Coast, purchased my first boat and continued my SCUBA adventures exploring numerous wrecks and interacting with dolphins.

My next assignment was back overseas to Belgium. The adventures continued here, exploring many great castles and historical places, but with an added benefit, beer! Belgium is world renowned for their beer and staying true to my adventurous nature I gladly accepted the challenge and explored all there was to offer.

After 21 years of military service I retired and moved to my family to FishHawk Ranch in Florida. Here my family and I are surrounded with our beloved nature. There are natural springs, rivers, forests, and the sugary white sand of the Gulf Coast.
