Chad Baker

If ever asked to describe myself in one word, the reply would be simple...busy.

First and always first in my life are my two wonderful children. Ella and AJ (Anderson Jacob) are the main focus of my life. They are both Type-1 diabetics and two of the most resilient and strong people I know.

Second, I am a worker. No matter what the project or for whom I am doing the work, I am always nose to the grindstone, focuses on the best product possible. Currently, the benefactor of that work ethic is Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, PA where I am the Director of Marketing and Public Information.

And finally, I am a volunteer. I have volunteered with the Democratic Party of York County for the past 8 years and worked on various campaigns, developed the marketing and communications strategies for the local party and have served on several committees including fundraising and strategic planning.

In addition to the political side of life, I also volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), American Diabetes Association (ADA), I have volunteered for my alma mater of Shippensburg University and I have been a volunteer coach for a squad of 4-year old soccer players (maybe the most difficult task on this entire list!)
