Chad Beatty

Work:

Chad works across VML and client teams to plan and effectively facilitate projects for clients such as Sam’s Club, Tom’s of Maine and ATI. Prior to joining account management, Chad was responsible for managing all new business opportunities at VML.

As such, he led a diverse group of agency subject matter experts, working globally across all VML teams and partner agencies, representing every aspect of VML’s product and service offerings.

Prior to VML, Chad honed client relationship and business development skills at Elmwood Reclaimed Timber, where he served as vice president (2002-06). This eco-friendly business entity provides natural construction supplies for the commercial and residential markets, including a wide range of reclaimed timber and stone products. At Elmwood, Chad built the company from the ground up, including spearheading the company’s award winning online presence.

Life:

Chad is a 1998 graduate of Northern Arizona University, majoring in History and German. He spent the ’97-98 academic year living and studying in Konstanz, Germany, and is fluent in the language.

Away from the office, Chad and his wife Alicia are renovating a turn-of-the-century home in Kansas City’s historic Hyde Park District. Their home was once the residence of former Kansas City notable, Walter Cronkite.
