Chad Carpenter
Pastor, Musician, and Consultant in Sunriver, Oregon
I am proud to be a native Central Oregonian, from the small town of Prineville, OR. In addition to being a Pastor since 1994, I have spent my career working and consulting in the public, private and nonprofit sectors in organizational development and marketing & branding. Over my career, I have become passionate about community. I enjoy the close relationships that can be built, particularly in rural communities, and the work that can be accomplished when people come together in order to achieve common goals.
Currently, I am a Pastor at The Door, a small non-denominational church in South Deschutes County with locations in La Pine and Sunriver, OR. Additionally, we also serve the community by operating La Pine Warming Center, a cold-weather night-time warming center where those who don’t have adequate housing can come in and have a warm place to sleep during cold winter nights.
I also manage Homeowners Associations throughout Central Oregon for Mile High Community Management, located in Bend, OR. and hold the CMCA certification from the Community Association Managers International Certification Board and the AMS certification from the Community Associations Institute. I hold a Google Cloud Certification in Gsuite, as well
On a volunteer basis, I serve as the President of the Board of Directors for an amazing organization, NeighborImpact, a Community Action Agency based in Redmond, OR., serving our tri-county area with a slew of social services.
In my free time (yes, I do have some of that), I enjoy music. As a multi-instrumentalist, I play drums & percussion, guitar, and bass. I have a hobby-business, Inglorious Instruments, where I make cigar box instruments.
