Chad is currently serving as Nokia's first Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.

As a senior executive with 25 years experience working at the leading edge of information technology law and compliance, Chad has lived and worked around the world. He has enjoyed long-term assignments in Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Sydney and London. His extensive international and broad business experience served as the perfect foundation for his focus on corporate governance, ethics and compliance.

Chad's vision and impact in the area of ethics and compliance have been well recognized by the ethics and compliance community. He has served as a faculty member for a number of international symposia dedicated to corporate governance and compliance including the Ethics & Compliance Officers Association, Business Ethics Leadership Council, Forbes Business Ethics Summit and the ABA.

The Ethisphere Institute recently recognized Chad as one of the top 10 Compliance Officers in 2010 as a result of his work at Accenture, where he transformed the ethics & compliance function into a tightly integrated team of 30 international professionals which has been widely recognized for its leading practices and innovations – innovations with real results as Accenture was recognized as one of the "World's Most Ethical Companies" by Ethisphere for four consecutive years and its code of conduct was rated as an "A" and among the top 7 of the thousands of codes reviewed by Ethisphere.

Chad has also worked beyond the enterprise to promote ethical conduct. He has worked closely with non-governmental organizations such as the World Economic Forum's Partnering Against Corruption Initiative and made substantial contributions to the UN Global Compact as a member of the Principle 10 Task Force where he wrote substantial portions of the UN's guidance for communicating on progress for Principle 10.

The hallmark of Chad's accomplishments as a compliance officer is his innovative approach to solving traditional compliance issues. Some examples include: invention of the "code of conduct 3.0" approach which leverages web 2.0 technology to communicating and engage with employees.

Chad is currently enjoying life in Helsinki, Finland with his two seven year old boys, Christian and Cole.
