Director, Software Architect, and Community Organizer in Louisville, KY
Chad Green is a software developer, architect, manager, community leader, and most importantly a father and husband living in Louisville, KY.
Chad works as a Software Delivery Manager for HP Enterprise Services managing the Cadet Support Program on the Human Resources Command account at Ft. Knox, KY. He spends his day managing the development of applications in direct support of the Army ROTC and JROTC programs. Chad is also the CTO for Green Workforce Management Solutions where he helps develop software to help call centers manage their agents.
Over the years, Chad has worked on projects in several markets including workforce management, military, government, financial services, chemical research, and electronic commerce.
One of the ways Chad has learned new technology and development practices is by attending user groups and software development events throughout the country. Being a big believer in giving back and wanting to ensure there are cool events for other software development professionals, Chad is the founder and chairman of Code PaLOUsa, the organizer for the Louisville .NET Meetup user group, co-coordinator for the AFCEA Fort Knox Gold Vault Chapter Industry Day 2012, and has helped with other events like the Cincy Day of Agile. Chad also speaks a couple of times a year at user groups about .NET development, TFS, and
leadership.
When not busy working, Chad is dedicated to his family and making sure his daughter has everything she needs.
