Chad Gustafson

Playing piano has taken me all over the world and given me many rare oppurtunities. I met my wife during one of those oppurtunities and we settled in Virginia. We set about coming up with enough scratch to buy a bar in Cozumel, MX and that's what we did. We took it from 7 stools, 2 tables and a tiny store to an entire plaza as well as opening another restaurant in 2012. It's been a good run and now we are looking forward to moving on. Moving to Hungary, the homeland of my wife to embark on creating a sustainable training center within the small hamlet of Nagylok. Think of it as a educational vacation in a yurt with the opportunity to get certified in some important skills that we think are going to be in high demand in the coming decades. Our mission is to give the citizens of Nagylok a future and their children a reason to stay. Not to mention, it has been the home to Klara's grandparents farm for a century. I plan on curating the simple wisdom of the village and strive to be a responsible caretaker of it's future. Well, that and i want to make mead undisturbed.
