I write because I want to challenge the status quo in contemporary literature, break the rules, and try something, anything unexpected.

I've been writing for twenty years and training in martial arts for fourteen years. The two of those skills together kind of brought me towards the entertainment industry, and into acting.

Winner of the 2009 Evvy Award for fiction for my debut novel Khan in Rasputin's Shadow. I recently sold the film rights to my novel Psycho Save Us, which is still #1 on Goodreads' list of Best Indie Authors/Books.

My sci-fi novels consist of the Rook series: The Phantom in the Deep, and The Immortal Game. I work with Marvel Comics artists on my book covers and I've recently started an entertainment company with my editor Will Fruman, called Nine Dusks Entertainment.

I got into SAE work (special abilities extra) for my martial arts skills, and am slowly working my way into the stuntman field.

When I'm not writing or on a movie set, I'm spending time with my amazing girlfriend, Melissa, and marveling at her abilities in crafts, soap-making, and simply keeping positive in the winds of adversity.
