Chad Grandey

Chad Grandey was born in a poor steel-town hospital outside of Pittsburgh. His first art-direction job was at the age of two days: a pro-bono redesign of the hospital's maternity ward. He's been upset about taking off those first two days ever since.

First to arrive and last to leave every day – that's the Pittsburgh way. And the résumé is loaded with stints at some of the most impressive creative shops around such as DDB/TracyLocke, Earle Palmer Brown, Rapp Worldwide, and Digitas.

It's been quite a trip since Chad came out of the womb with an awards annual in his hand, and he's been recognized heavily along the way, with work featured in Lurzer's International Archive, Creativity and Adweek magazines and the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.

Hardware includes a Summit Award, local Addy citations, local Addy awards, District Two, District Four and District Ten Addys, 2010 Greater Fort Lauderdale Best in Broadcast, 2010 Greater Fort Lauderdale Judges Choice, 2011 Greater Fort Lauderdale Best in Show and National Addys.

Chad was a judge at the Charlotte Addys and is a former President of the Advertising Federation in South Florida.

His mother named him Chad. Chadvertising was his destiny. And now, he's looking to design the next chapter of his career.
