Competitive entrance examinations, thick package expectations, excitement of making new friends, with all these mixed feelings I came to SCIT. Few of my friends were planning to form a group named SSR. I made it to the first event by SSR which was GO GREEN. I was impressed by the enthusiasm with which students went out on streets creating awareness to save our planet earth. Followed by events like Earth hour, GREENT IT, a visit at this special school called Manavya where I met these talented kids who have fallen prey to this dreaded disease of HIV. SSR extended a helping hand where students and faculty @ SCIT contributed whole heartedly and spent valuable time with these wonderful kids. This group has made me understand that life is not just about profit and loss statement of your success and failures. It has enriched me with all these experiences to be a compassionate human being and a responsible citizen towards the society. It is an honour and privilege to be a part of this wonderful initiative.
