Bradley Chamblin
Bio
Bradley Chamblin is a full-time Innovation Lab teacher at North Hillsborough Elementary in Hillsborough, CA and a San Mateo County Science and Mathematics Teacher Innovation award winner. Additionally, he is pursuing his master’s degree in education from San Francisco State University. Chamblin’s research focuses on equity, instructional technologies, and critical pedagogy. Professionally, Bradley creates constructionist learning environments in which children learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics by building projects centered on social justice and environmental activism. His additional research interests include the impact of globalization on education.
Chamblin has worked extensively on teaching science through self-paced, hands-on, and inquiry based investigations to elementary school students. He earned his B.A. in philosophy (cum laude) from California State University Hayward and California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with an additional authorization in teaching computer concepts and applications. He spent 7 years as a classroom teacher at North Hillsborough School before accepting his current position as the I-Lab teacher there.
