April Chan is an award-winning journalist and web content professional based in the Seattle area. She previously served as editor for several area Patch hyperlocal community news sites and prior to that, worked as the online reporter for The Olympian newspaper. She has also produced content for Univera, Inc., a nutritional supplements company supported by a network of independent sales associates, and oversaw the launch of its social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. She is mommy to two children and three cats.
