Chandler Osborne

My name is Chandler Osborne, and I'm a journalism student studying public relations at the University of North Texas.

Originally from Waco, I first took an interest in journalism when writing for my high school newspaper. Now, in my junior year of college I consider myself a competent news and feature writer with public relations skills such as research and social media.

In the past I've worked with two nonprofits to create various public relations materials. I worked with Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center in Corinth, Texas to create a communication audit, and plan that they were given for their use. I also worked with Uplift Education, a charter school system in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to produce multiple PR documents for them. In the future I would like to work in education public relations for a school district or university, or as a Public Information Officer for a government agency.
