“The day will come after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, that we shall harness for God the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.” – de Chardin

I'm 34 and live in Jasper, AL. I was born and raised there. I actuallly live in a community called Curry; it's about 15 minutes outside of the city limits and close to Smith Lake. I am the coordinator for The Literacy Council-Walker County Chapter, which is a nonprofit organization that teaches adults how to read and offers ESOL courses, as well as illiteracy prevention services. I love what I do. TLC-WCC is just one of the five counties covered by The Literacy Council of Central Alabama. I see what we do as educational support, and I have spent most of my professional career in education.

I am single and have a puppy named Pepsi, who is the man of the house. We live in a rural area, so we spend our free time taking long walks and going for hikes and bike rides.
