My life is unpredictable and I have learned to roll with the punches. I graduated high school nine years ago and this December I will have finally completed my first bachelor's degree. I was blessed with my first son in 2009 and my daughter in 2010; both my son and daughter serve as my everyday reminder to push forward no matter what. This fall I will be sending my son of to kindergarten and I've learned it's an even bigger step than it was for me 21 years ago. I have been working on a cake decorating business that has led me to meet wonderful people such as Raleigh Mayor Nancy McFarlane. When it's all said and done I want to be remembered not just for my words but my actions that I hope will change loves for the better.
