Laura Chan

Hello, my name is Laura Chan. I was born and raised in the greater Boston area. I love the city of Boston from the history to sports. Everything about Boston amazes me and I am glad to have been here my whole life.

I am currently a senior at University of Massachusetts, Amherst studying finance and resource economics with a concentration in managerial economics. I am involved with planning events for Resource Economics Society on campus. In the past, I have worked part-time in the finance department at Harmonix Music Systems and discovered that I really enjoy music royalties along with other financial responsibilities, such as updating actuals into forecasts and budgeting. With the experience, I have learned how to manage my time, work well with others, and become more organized. In my free time, I like reading, watching sports games and in particular, I am a huge hockey fan. I hope to look for an internship that will allow me to use my research and analytical skills.
