Let me begin by saying that I LOVE the channel sales role! I enjoy collaboratively helping resellers DRIVE demand, SOLIDIFY account control and INCREASE their revenues! I have a different perspective than most after spending almost 11 years in field sales with a value-added reseller before transitioning into channel sales. That perspective has given me a deeper understanding of selling and industry related challenges that my channel partners could likely face and also how to handle them.

Since the hardware portion of our portfolio is fairly mature, my goal is always to help partners gain mindshare with their customers by leveraging key differentiators and by helping to provide opportunities for them change the conversation with end-users. I progressively utilize social media like Twitter and YouTube as a tool to help educate my partners.
