Chantal Powell

My work explores the universal emotions that connect us as human beings and that motivate us in our lives.I generally work by responding to a particular object, material or space, creating pieces that are emotionally charged and that invite intimacy and personal involvement.

I am currently living and working in Southampton, UK and have had my work exhibited throughout the UK, in France, and at the 53rd Venice Biennale.
