I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in English. I wanted to go back to school so that I could develop my knowledge and explore the counseling field. With that being said I am currently a student at NCCU majoring in Family and Consumer sciences with a concentration in Child development and Family realtions. My best success has been being the first college graduate of my family. Achieving this has taken much hard work and determination. I believe that if you work hard and have a passion for your field of study you can achieve any goal you set for yourself. Over the years I have learned that I am a strong leader, I have awesome people skills and I genuinely care about the well-being of other people. I want to make a defference in the world and in my community by helping develop stronger family bonds. I believe that children need a strong family foundation in order to become productive citizens. My short term goals are to graduate and pursue my Master's degree in counseling. Long term goals I hope to open my own counseling center.
