Chantrelle Igbokwe

Introduction

Hello, I am Chantrelle Igbokwe currently living in Houston, Texas, I am originally from India and I came to the United States in 2016. I have completed my bachelor's degree Bachelors's in Business Administration from India and my Master's of Education in Special Education from Grand Canyon University Arizona.

My passion is working with children with special needs to help them overcome their difficulties and to help them achieve their goals and dreams.

I am currently teaching in a self-contained special education elementary classroom in Mission West Elementary School, Houston Texas. My goal is to become a certified special education educator, so I can continue my passion to work with special education children.

I am an experienced human resource professional, with 15 years of experience, my passion for teaching started when I worked as an intern teacher in an elementary school for three years during my bachelor’s degree in India, my teaching passion triggered again when I became a mother in 2016 and I worked for two years as a lead kindergarten teacher in Children's Learning Adventure here in Houston, Texas. In May 2019 I decided to do my master’s in education so that I can give my best to my students professionally and personally.
