I am a Consultant General surgeon, Director of the 3rd Department of Surgery, at "IASO" General hospital in Athens, Greece. I have been trained in all aspects of general and laparoscopic surgery at Patras University Hospital, Greece. I have completed a fellowship in colorectal and upper GI surgery at Stepping Hill Hospital, Manchester, UK and at DRK Krankenhauss-Clementinenhauss Hospital, Hanover, Germany.

My clinical experience includes all aspects of basic and advanced laparoscopic procedures with a special focus and interest in upper GI / bariatric surgery, thyroid surgery and gastrointestinal oncology.

I have authored or co-authored a number of peer-reviewed original scientific papers . In addition, I have presented numerous oral free papers and scientific presentations and I have been an invited lecturer in national and international conferences
