Hi, I am Sam Oldham...

I love dirt bikes.

I love everything about them even down to the smell of two stroke exhaust. I have been this way since I was little. I grew up in the mountains of Utah running wild and driving my four wheeler anywhere it could take me. I always dreamed of owning my own dirt bike and even saved up enough money to get one. Like most responsible parents my parents wouldn’t let me get one. They thought that it was too dangerous (fourwheelers are actually more dangerous). We need to dispel this myth…… So I kept riding and loved my Honda 400 EX.

When I got older and moved out, I was determined to get my own dirt bike. The trouble was that I was recently married, working as a mechanic and flat broke. But I found a way to save enough to get my very own dirt bike, a Honda CRF250X. It was a great decision and I don’t regret it one bit.

Ever since then I have always found time to get out and ride. It is therapeutic for me. My wife tells me that I get grumpy and depressed if I don’t get enough riding in. It is how I coped working in a stressful corporate America sales job. Many times I would come home and just ride around the fields near my house in Utah. I have now been riding for a total of 14 years.

I have participated and become an expert in the dirt biking community over the past couple of years. My friends and I have a YouTube channel about dirt bikes and it is growing rapidly. I have ran an online parts store, been a mechanic for a brief time and have helped many people buy the perfect dirt bike for them.

I currently ride a 2020 KTM 250XC. I live in Utah and I ride a lot out in the West desert and single track up in the mountains. I love riding new areas and if you have a great spot to ride let me know. My favorite trail or ride is in Stanley Idaho.

I am focused on building my community in the dirt biking world and want to make that my new full-time job. Who wouldn’t want to spend all day talking about and riding dirt bikes. The future of dirt biking is looking bright, technology is getting better with more options. We even have a decent electric dirt bike from KTM.

I have two kids who both like to ride. My kids started out riding an electric dirt bike than moved to a Honda CRF50, KTM 50SX, and Honda CRF110. My youngest boy Milo is a gear head like myself, he currently rides a KTM 65SX.
