Charissa @ Custom Life LLC
Artist, Designer, and Small Business Owner in Sandy, Oregon
I am an artist, aspiring writer, book reviewer, entrepreneur, and currently a designer for Custom Life (Northwest). On my spare time I paint, draw, write, dabble in photography, read, write, consume more coffee then I should, and not nearly enough wine *wink*.
During the week I am in full time working mom mode, and I tend to let my introverted hermit take over. Once Friday hits, my less-introverted (that's as good as I get without wine) self takes over. By this time, I'm desperate to get out of my studio, and to let my quirky artist half get out and socialize a little. (She helps remind me that socializing with people is a good thing.)
My passions in life truly is my art, writing, and my family. Thankfully, our company, Custom Life, has allowed me to combine all my passions into one purpose. I can use my talents to design images for our brand, I get to help bring my nephew's dream come to life (he passed away last summer), and I get to create a company with my husband that we hope will one day become a family run business.
Through it all, our company will grow and help support local programs and organizations that help our youth and community, and give aide to those who are troubled or struggling. Looking around us, on the news, on our social media pages, and in our own lives, the struggle is too real, the separation is getting worse, the emotions rising too high, the connections are being lost, and the love is becoming non-existent.
Our nephew lived amongst it all and still managed to love everyone, no matter their walk of life. He was, is, and will continue to be what inspires this company and our mission.
