What do you want to be when you "grow up" and why?
I want to be a teacher when I grow up because I have a passion for working with other people and want to impact as many students in a positive way as possible. My teachers in high school were some of my biggest role models and I strive to be the same when I become a teacher.
What advice do you have for new students?
GET INVOLVED! Take advantage of the time you spend here at WSU and enjoy every second of your college experience. Personally, I was really involved in high school and was nervous about not having the same opportunities to get involved, but WSU has so many different organizations to offer that it's almost impossible not to be involved in something. Most importantly though, HAVE FUN! "The work never ends but college does." -Tom Petty
What advice do you have for new Cougar parents?
My advice for new Cougar parents is to become familiar with the university and the community that your student will be living in for the next few years. Get excited for Mom's/Dad's weekends!
